The year of 2021 is another memorable one. With the dedicated cooperation of the team and the full support from the VAST Alliance and the company, we secured the first project for the new generation belt handle on Changan Ford’s Lincoln CDX707 this June after almost six months of communication, discussion and confirmation.

This door handle is 1.1 meters long with high-gloss black paint surface, crossing and fixed to the entire door panel, which is very different from traditional door handles. It is another unique new design in our door handle business after the flush handle. This innovative design has undoubtedly been the result of the tireless efforts on problem solving by our project and R&D teams, boosting the confidence for more innovative designs in the future. This model will then be assembled at Changan Ford’s facility and also be sold directly overseas. Meanwhile, this newly designed handle will also create possibility for more future business and along with it, more revenue.

The CDX707 project is yet another cooperation between Changan Ford and us on new product development. It has been the result of joint efforts as well as the embodiment of the long-term cooperative spirit between the two companies. At the same time, the introduction of new large size painted handles can also lay a solid foundation for the large piece painting operation planned for the Taicang plant.

One can only go further ahead if one continues to make progress. Although there are difficulties and obstacles on the road forward, there is no doubt that these hardships will eventually become the solid cornerstones under our feet. As long as we move forward in unity, we will surely be able to make progress and succeed.
