  • Official Kick-off of 2021 VCN Culture Promotion

    As a key project for VCN in 2021, the culture promotion project is of vital importance to the development of the company in that:

    ? Firstly, corporate culture is a crucial condition for a successful corporate business strategy.
    ? Secondly, good corporate culture can help create an outstanding work environment for every employee.

    ? Last but no least, there has been a strong call for better culture building in the 2020 employee engagement survey.

    Mr. William Zhang, CEO Operations Center, said: "Corporate culture is the soul of an enterprise and the inexhaustible driving force for its development, which will ensure that our company will always move in the right direction in the future.


    According to Mr. Wayne Bird, CEO Customer Center: "The culture at VCN should be consistent with our mission and values and resonate with everyone in the organization. All VCN employees should work together to contribute their part for the building of our corporate culture.


    The culture project team has been formed by VCN HR Dept.. The VCN core management team first reviewed the culture of Vast China, and interpreted the company’s values at the behavioral level, to make sure that the corporate culture can be better understood, observed and measured, so as to achieve the implementation of corporate culture enhancement.

    In 2021 we will organize a series of culture promotion activities, including:

    ?Two rounds of training and communication including general culture training and values video training.
    ?Values activity: everyone is encouraged to find value role models around them.

    ?For value in action, core team will be the pilot and lead by example.


    We have already completed the following tasks so far:

    ?The first round of general culture training and communication to let everyone understand what is culture.
    ?Corporate culture training is included in new hire orientation training to be part of a mandatory course for every VAST employee.
    ?A culture wall is built to visualize corporate culture.

    Next up we will roll out the second round of culture training and a series of culture promotion activities:

    ?CEO on Culture: Let’s hear how CEOs understand culture.
    ?VAST in Video: video on values directed and acted by VAST employees will be made each month to help everyone better understand what values and behaviors are encouraged and what behaviors are against our values.
    ?Find the value role model around you: everyone is to be engaged and discover the value role model around them with their sharp eyes and tell their values stories.
    ?The VCN core team will take the lead to practice the company's values and complete their personal task list.
